Ycalc

ycalc, an X Window Calculator, based on Texas Instruments TI-59, by Ulf Nordquist. The development started in 1989.

As you can see in the picture below it provides a binary mode, and that's why I like it.

Only a slight modification was required to make it compile on Debian. It used to be in the repository but it is no longer.
